The forum board now has gwbbcode fully installed, and updated to the latest skill update.
Anyone who has used the gwbbcode syntax before will be comfortable with it already, and should use it in exactly the same way. Anyone who hasn't tried it before or doesn't know what it is, you can find the guide Here.

After over 72 hours of slaving through miles of code, I've managed to develop a usergroup system. What this means, ladies and gents, that there are now different areas of the forum board that are only visible to certain forum members.
At current, there are 3 usergroups; SNOW Leaders, SNOW Members, and General. By default, all usergroups are set to the General status, so if you're reading this, and you're a SNOW member, you need to get in touch with one of the moderators on the site - any of the officers should have moderator status.
You'll also notice that to cater for this new separation of forum sections, I've had to tidy the forum up a bit - every single topic is still in its respective sub-category, simply moved around to better suit the needs of the forum.
Officers, you can edit a forum user's usergroup by navigating to that user's details page, and selecting the relevant drop down menu. |
